Frank
I asked this once before and never got a reply that I know of. You
mentioned a, "no confidence" in Mike Dell. Who would be better suited to run Dell at this point in time, or the near future? And secondly what would this individual have to do different to regain your confidence?

To thread: nice to see a return to civility here today.

Chuzz: welcome back, good points on holding Dell (or any stock). Hope
all is well on the home front.

Can't say I agree, nor disagree.

I have been a long term holder of microsoft, and I can attest [with hindsight], that some of the sales of stock Bill Gates and other insiders executed have been so "ill-timed", that it makes one wonder. I can't provide exact dates and quantities, but qualitatively, there have been numerous times, if bill had only waited another month or so, he could have appreciated 25% greater "profit", if he wasn't already being forced to sell on a time constraint.

However, as an investor, it is somewhat unsettling to have executives sell shares when the price is depressed. Makes one wonder if they know something, and you don't.
Give those guys a break, they have their own needs also.

Now, here come the flames!
