I'm not arguing there weren't Khazars, or that the court and maybe the populace, converted to Judaism. That doesn't prove, however, that that population migrated to Eastern Europe. The Khazar kingdom went into a rapid decline within not that long a period afterward, and the disappearance of Jewish Khazars over that time doesn't prove your thesis.
