Bresnan to Launch WorldGate's Internet TV Over Cable (sm) Service In Selected Systems as Part of Digital Cable Service

White Plains, NY -- Bresnan Communications, an MSO that passes over 950,000 homes, announced today a multi-year affiliation agreement with WorldGate Communications (Nasdaq: WGAT) to provide Internet service to the TV set via existing cable television infrastructure. The agreement will make the digital WorldGate(sm) Service available to over 100,000 homes in selected Bresnan systems beginning this summer.

Bresnan Communications Acquires Buffalo, MN Cable System

White Plains, NY -- Bresnan Communications today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a cable system serving approximately 14,000 customers in Buffalo, MN, and surrounding communities. The transaction included cable operations in 21 communities between Buffalo and St. Cloud that were previously owned and operated by Jones Cable TV Fund 14-A, Ltd.

Bresnan, TCIC and Blackstone Form Partnership Serving Approximately 644,000 Customers

Bresnan Communications to Manage Expanded Venture

White Plains, NY -- Bresnan Communications (Bresnan), TCI Communications, Inc. (TCIC), the cable television systems arm of Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI), and Blackstone Capital Partners III Merchant Banking Fund L.P. and its affiliates (Blackstone) announced today that they have formed a new partnership, Bresnan Communications Company Limited Partnership that serves approximately 644,000 customers. The partnership operates cable systems in Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin. These systems include those owned by a pre-existing partnership between TCIC and Bresnan, plus additional systems serving approximately 416,000 customers contributed by TCIC. The transaction was originally announced on June 5, 1998.

Bresnan Communications Acquires Mid-Michigan Cable Systems

White Plains, NY -- Bresnan Communications Company today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a group of cable systems, formerly owned by Cable Vision, Inc., which serve approximately 26,000 customers in Michigan, according to Michael Bresnan, Senior Vice President-Domestic Division.
