I'm pretty brave with my friends, yes. I'm pretty brave with strangers, if you can imagine. I get yelled at and misunderstood a fair amount. I will ask. None of them will be afraid to answer or think. I have my own theories; but I will ask. I see, what I would come to feel. There. But I am a combatant; not a reformer. I think it will take reformers; and they may approach. Appear. They may not. Maybe they will. Could what terror has happened to you be symptomatic of exclusion? We don't see as much security necessary, or as much robbery and violence, in/of any layer above segregated and poor ~ I think it's a combination of those. (We have stuff. We have money. Security. Mobility. Future; present.) For me, as a black of the ghetto, I would be out to "earn" however I could. I would have little guilt; and I would know my target; when I could get out of the neighborhood. I know I'm not nice, but I am pissed off, with nothing. Disenfranchised is pretty goddam disenfranchised around here.
