>Qualcom similar to CKFR>

You have drawn a very interesting and worthy analogy. Once it became established that CDMA was truly functional and reliable, hell broke loose and returns have been fantastic. For many that was a fact long before Ericsson yelled Uncle but the true potential is now recognized!
I follow this thread very carefully and have become convinced that eventually CKFR will be recognized as the most functional and reliable of those trying to compete in this promising area! As Clayton Christensen has aptly highlighted in his wonderful book, "The Innovator's Dilemma," it is functionality, reliability, convenience and price in that order that are evolving determinants of success! His thesis is not exactly directed to that with which CKFR is struggling and CKFR's competitors may be attempting to avoid the failure that plagues large companies, but it does appear that CKFR is on the cusp of moving from being seen as the most functional & reliable to establishing themselves as the most convenient. CKFR is one of two major holdings in what I refer to as my "threadbare portfolio", i.e., companies where my investment is clearly and heavily influenced by what I have learned on the stock's thread. Thinking of starting a mutual fund based on stocks selected in that fashion! Much thanks to the regular contributors on the CKFR thread (yup, I do consider analysis of a thread as constituting part of my DD. Some are given more credence than others, many are disregarded but this thread is among the best and gets factored in quite heavily)! Again, much thanks to all!
