D.--if these sales don't take place there could be a massive backlash favorable to gold. The Swiss in turn will not be one upp-ed by the the British coming to their senses. No Swiss sale. The US might not have all that much to sell according to rumor. These all look like things indicating the tide turning. Even if the sales do take place, if they're sucked up without a trace, such as during the Johnson Administration, the implications are obvious. By the way, I remember the Johnson years well when people were favoring getting us off the gold standard TO SAVE our remaining hoard not already cashed in by foreign countries. The outflow of gold was in the news, although not necessarily on the front page.
