My preferred way to achieve that is to pull the money out of my savings account and put it in an index fund. FYI, S&P and DAQ were up annualized 23 and 48 percents respectively in the first half of '99 while several big shot money managers are reportedly sitting with negative to single digit performance numbers. Perhaps EMH is a conspiracy to rob the hard working money managers the opportunity to be overpaid for underperforming?
