It seems like recent IPO's have come out and sit for a while and then take off as the quiet period ends. ANother one that might follow the trend is LINE. It just started to move up today and couold move like HSAC or BWEB have been doing. It looks poised to break out here.

For a trade AHWY could be a winner tomorrow. The Musicmaker IPO comes out tomorrow and the entire sector will get some press. AHWY is one that moves very fast due to the low float. A great trading stock. I am looking for 3-5 points move up by lunchtime.

max90/TJ/Wes/CD/snerd .. other regulars ..

After reviewing my trading for the past few months
and realizing if I had just bought and 'held' instead
of trying to 'pollinate all the flowers' .. 'kiss all
the girls' .. insert your favorite trading cliche ..
I'd be a happier and wealthier camper at this point ..

Judging by some of the 'regulars' comments lately I don't
feel I'm alone in this assessment of my/our present trading
style .. therefore, I'd like to suggest/propose a refinement
to the original "specialist" program TJ originally suggested
to the thread as a way to organize our collective research
activities. A common element I observe on this and numerous
other SI threads is the sheer volume of 'ideas' presented
that are nearly impossible to process/evaluate/act on in
a timely and consistent fashion .. not to mention the often
repetitive DD as different issues are presented/traded/dropped/
and later revived for consideration ..

What I'd like to propose is that the main thread participants
you know who you are consider collectively selecting
10-20 technology/i-net issues with the following characteristics:

tradeability
liquidity
volatility
tight spreads
sector leader

We would then concentrate our efforts on TA to time our
entry/exits on these stocks both long and short using
MACD/Stochastics .. whatever people know and are comfortable
with to maximize our returns ..

TJ ..

Some 'random' thoughts .. remember the 'specialist
program' .. a good idea but nobody picked up on it ..
I agree with max90 sentiments expressed to CD about
getting tired of 'chasing' too many ideas and missing
the 'big' move .. Thought .. what about you/the thread
selecting 10 internet related issues that are first or second
tier that we can follow for say MACD and/or Stochastic
buy sell signals and try to 'position' trade a bit more ..
I guess I'm finding that we uncover good ideas .. scalp
a buck or two and then move on .. and the stock keeps going ..
Let's do the DD once and stick with a short list of good
'traders' that we can really cover for entry/exit points ..
Everybody can nominate one or two stocks or 'agree' on a 'list'
If we get that far then the 'regulars' can/should keep the
comments and analysis to the stocks on the list ..
I keep a daily written trade log which I frequently review ..
and cry over .. See June 15th .. how much DRIV do
you still have from prices under 21 ??? See today's close ..
Think I scalped it for 3/4 of a point .. ouch .. anyway
I think you know where I'm coming from ..
We could compose an initial list and update it every
month or quarter to stay with fresh/tradeable names etc ..
I'll vote for ATHM/COVD/DRIV/HSAC/NITE for starters ..
I think CD/Wes/max90/triffin/TJ/ would go for this ??????
Maybe this could/should be a seperate/sister thread ??
The closest thing I see to this idea is the 'Last Shadow'
thread .. but they keep coming up with too many 'new' names
and 'new' watch lists to make much sense of it .. I feel
the key would be to concentrate our combined efforts on a
'short' list .. get focused <gggg>

Jim in CT .. feel free to pass on this PM to the others above

EOM------------------------------------------------------------------

So, what do you all think ??
Is this worth the effort ??

Max:PAIR thanks for posting thestreet.com info on PAIR. I sold on yesterday's runup and probably would be buying on this morning's dip if I hadn't seen that.(currently 11 3/8).
I signed up for the free trial to read that article and noticed they also had a positive article on RFMD. In May I posted >RFMD:bought at 52 3/8
one that I like and watch since they are here in town.< currently 71
I just mention this because everyone locally who knows the principals of this company are convinced that they are just getting started.
Just a report of the local "buzz" in case anyone watches this company.
The street.com reported the fundamentals well.
Regards,
RL
