Dude! Oh...man - I was really wrong about that one!!!

That's why I decided to go long Yahoo in June of 1998:

I also thought AOL was a good long at the time as well...but I didn't buy any - bummer!!

Lost a lot of money shorting Yahoo. Made it all back 3 times over on the same stock.

On Feb. 12 1997, super-investor and "scummer" hunter "brad greene" showed up on the Identix thread to begin a lengthy - if futile - effort to shill for this miserably underperforming stock.

On Feb. 12 1997, the IDX stock promotion fraud closed at 12 1/2 a share.

Today, IDX closed at 9 7/8 a share - a return of roughly -25%.

In the same period the NASDAQ rose from 1358 to 2686 a rise of nearly 100%.

From time to time, we will be reviewing Mr. Greene's past thoughts about the Identix stock promotion fraud and mapping them against reality.

Let's start with the first post Brad made the day he joined SI...2/12/97
