This thread is turning into a technical support site for Ebay ...

Who really cares about these minute-to-minute reports on eBay outages?

All the Net sites I regularly use (e.g., American Airlines, my bank, my quote server, many others) are down from time to time. It's annoying, but hardly a crisis. So you check back later. Go somewhere else if it's that urgent (e.g., quote server). My lights go out once in a while. Sometimes a long distance call won't go through. Big deal. As they say, technology is great when it works.

However ... if you're saying that investors are going to bail out of their positions whenever these things happen ... Well, then that IS something to worry about. Enough to get out of NASDAQ stocks altogether.
