My guess is they will be moving things closer and decreasing the copper loop in an on going program. Remember if cable grabs up the customers the telco not only will loose the DSL market, but voice and the rest will follow. My guess is the telco's will bring the whole tool box, as Colin Powell would say, to the fight.
