"Performance characterization of FC-AL loops, part 2"

Second part of the article from Thomas Ruwart of the LCSE (also available on CD from the IEEE):

Message 10249084

Using the same methodology as in the previous article (loops of 50m, 7.5km, 15km, and 30km) the author studies the performance of 12, 24, 48 and 96 disks on the loop in specific areas of interest. Length of the loop (loops>5km) were determined to have significant performance degradation and was the performance limiting factor. They collected 10Gb of compressed data that is still being analyzed.

Overall, looks like the LCSE is developing the technology to load FC systems and measure performance under these loads.
