After speaking with a couple investment banker types who were involved with the offering, your thoughts are exactly what was perceived for the future. The handwriting from the "three banks" was cast in stone when the news about Yahoo came out way too soon. The banks were able to, as you put it, assault the leader to prolong the game. Realistically however, the leader in the game of Risk usually has the ability to recover against the weaker, less organized foes, and prove victorious.

Tomorrow is going to be a very interesting day. Rumors abound, everything from the fact that CKFR was asked to delay announcements until the end of the month, which I do not believe, to major announcements concerning lead portals that were used as illustrations in the promotional video, to simple undoing of month end manipulations, to the fact that the Dow Jones Industrials just broke out of a triple bottom with volume, coupled with strength in the internets.

The stage is set for what could be an explosive summer rally, one which CKFR will come to the party late but stay to the very end. Oh well, back to trying to bring justice to the brokerage industry on a case that makes Wall Street and other similar movies seem like child's play.
