I looked at the yhoo puts...July 180s are 19 3/8, July 185s about 22½, July 190s 25 7/8 (ask) Michelle, Yhoo closes @172, so the premiums are still up there. If Yhoo e-surge to over $200/$240, then those puts will be filled. First of all isn't that backward - the 180s are less... I normally put them in 2 batches, they maybe filled at different Yhoo shares trading prices and different time of the day. It depends on the Volatility premium and time premium and both premiums are sorta based on demand/supply of the moments in (trading)time.

And talking about the volatility premium for Yhoo/Amzn...etc.. For example, if Yhoo trades over $210 this Friday, the premium for Jul$180 puts may drop to $2+...come next Tuesday, if Yhoo goes up to $215 or even $220, the puts premium may stay the same or even higher if the volatility premium is increased due to high demand for the puts. Sometimes there will be a sudden-one-time large put order(buy or sell) that fill all the existing pending orders...it's largely based on demand/supply....99% of my options orders were filled as pending orders.
