My guess is it is nearly complete, based on the fact that GNET is an almost complete provider of content. Next logical step would be the formation of alliances with @Home and Road Runner and the "swapping" of service areas, so that efficiency is maximized. Finally, the companies would agree to share content, so Excite's strengths could be exploited by Charter and GNET's strengths exploited by the others. When this comes to pass, one truly has a "wired world". As WST would say, just my views <g>
