Frank, you are right on. They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and it seems that those who brag about their tech expertise in any one area are typically young guys with the least knowledge. I think we can all tell, by the nature of the posts, who has the real knowledge. We also know that tech knowledge does not translate to profitability in investing, oftentimes it hinders it because we can get intellectually attached to a bad position. Me, it seems that every year I learn a bit more about my field and increase my awareness of just how little I know. Good investing.

Eventually, someone will nominate you to the Thread Morons list, and you'll have to resign your membership and sign up under another alias just to regain some level of credibility. I see, someone else brought to your attention the certifiable nomination.... I guess is one of those instances where two great minds think alike... or something like that, but that is trumpeting arrogance, and we are not here for that... [as I would benefit greatly]. However, your second point, [in bold above], I suspect our hero is a former graduate of the "bb" flea market....[which I suspect is what he meant when he said he was an "EE" --you know, the spelling illness that is wide spread in the fleas....] So, given your suggestion to resign and change names.... Watch out for "Inspector Gadget", or "The Last of the Moronhicans", or "Mongo Santa María"... as his new handle. Hopefully, the "Arroganus Posterium" disease he suffers will be gone....
