No problem. Gotta keep my good Wit account flip free. :)

I still have the WITC IPO shares, and I wanted to lock in the profit. I thought you couldn't short an IPO for 30 days, but I gave it a shot today.

First I tried to short thru my Waterhouse account, no dice, the order got rejected. So I went over to my pal Etrade, and short order went thru right away. The delay caused by switching brokers was actually a good thing, b/c the price rose by about $1 in that time.

I'm not too worried about the taxes, I rather make the money and pay the tax. I have a few losers that I can sell if my gains become too larger. :)
