Partnership Offers Commerce Solutions for the Casino Gaming Industry
BURLINGTON, Mass., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Open Market, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMKT), a leading provider of Internet commerce software, today announced that it has entered into partnerships with Net Perceptions(TM) (Nasdaq: NETP), the originator and leading supplier of realtime personalization solutions, and Internet Gaming Software Solutions (IGSS), a leading technology and game provider for the gaming industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, Net Perceptions and Open Market will be working together to provide a joint commerce and 1:1 personalization solution to IGSS.

IGSS has signed an exclusive agreement with Open Market to offer technology solutions based on Open Market Transact(TM) to land-based casinos worldwide, in order to extend the casino's physical presence on to the Internet. Open Market's technology will provide comp/loyalty programs, live online customer service, real-time credit card processing, and pre-paid microtransactions for small, incremental wagering.

IGSS will be leveraging Net Perceptions personalization solutions to add a 1:1 element that responds to the online gaming consumer's unique tastes and preferences.

IGSS, with its roots firmly set in the land-based gaming industry, will be targeting the worldwide market of over 2000 land-based casinos to develop scalable, flexible, customized solutions to bring these casinos online. IGSS's focus will be on enabling casinos to reach out to visitors and extend their experience in the casinos to the Internet, by offering loyalty programs and personalized game playing.
