Morning SF

an amazing day...something that we will all look back on as pivotal for the entire next run...incredible...

On selling 1/2 and holding 1/2...

i always sell the entire position...for me, i have found, the first sell is always the best sell...lots of mo-mo stocks selloff at or near their tops of the day late..daytraders bail hard...

so if it's not an investment trade..or a long position trade, which i wouldn't sell anyway, i sell the whole position...

you & Lee, might keep a record of this type action..vis-vis...if you sold it all, and if you sold 1/2...and see what the results look like on 10-20 trades in the long run...

i have some friends that trade like that...a lot of times they are sorry they didn't unload the whole position...

however..this is a trading style...and in a trending market, it may in fact be better to hold some stock...over the last month, we've been playing hit & run...this could be a lot different now...

my damn e-mail server is down..@Home....might never buy that stock<g>..

OJ
