*OT* Benny, no I didn't, sorry.

On a another note, it really boggles the mind how "Ask Jeeves", which is IMO practically a totally useless, worthless company, could somehow attract *any* investor interest, *much less* enough to quadruple the stock on the first day of IPO.

Has anyone here felt the slightest desire to ask "Ask Jeeves" anything? My only question would be, "Who the *ell do you think you are?" :-)

Saw it last week -- don't know if I'd rightly call anything on TBS a "documentary," but the show was pretty interesting nonetheless.<g>

Even though they took alot of liberties in trying to paint Gates as nerdy as possible (and Jobs as the menacing dictator a la Apple's Orwellian commercials), it was a pretty creepy (and reasonably accurate) representation of both companies, IMHO...

All-in-all, I think it's great that the masses begin to understand how unhealthy MS's dominance of the industry has been, and begin to question why the media chooses to deify Gates simply because he's (incredibly) wealthy, ignoring the many shortcomings of MS's business practices...

rk (IMHO, of course)
