BB, just scan the other stock markets overseas, they all are close or above last year highs.

On top of all this the CRB is bottoming out. Yes it is grain overweight but it fell in the first place as a result of lack of buying power for grains from the developed countries.

As to corporate profitability, there are more and more anecdotal signs that wage pressure is up big time, it does not shows in statistics because an more expensive corporate car is not measured nor are the training seminars in lavish locations ect. or actual cost of living.

The CPI measures stone cave v. stone cave well the government convienently forgets that we moved a bit upscale.

those are my 2 cents.

BB; All when you come on the thread if you go to the bottom and
click srearch "this subjet only" and leave the other blank
it will bring up the most recent posts to the top, and you can
read the first 3 or 4 lines.

BTW BB the vix looks bearish to me, as it's lower than it's been in
a long time. Every one is too bullish, funds better get a lot
of money in on the 401s as I think they just spent all their
cash.
