Hi Steve,

Sorry I've taken a while to get back but I've been abroad to the land of the pompous and rogues. I visited a few grocers and sure saw a lot of the plastic and paper pricing that has taken over the Independent Grocer and it's parent!

WRT "spooky notes", the ones labeled "1 Nature of operation and financial condition", "7 Debenture and unamortized finacing cost and debt discount" and "16 Subsequent event" all got my attention.

Those certainly don't reflect a state of "NOT hanging on the edge".

ps I found this interesting tidbit in my in-box ..

A lawsuit has been filed by the former main owners of the Pricer
subsidiary Intactix International Inc (Intactix), against Pricer AB,
Erik Danielsson, and Broadview and Associates. The lawsuit for 28
MUSD (plus punitive damages) alleges that Dale Byrne, Susan Harp and
Alan Hetherington were persuaded to sell their Intactix shares to
Pricer AB in June 1997 on the basis of certain misrepresentations
made by Pricer.

Management is working with Pricer's attorneys to analyze the lawsuit
and intends to vigorously defend against it. Based on an initial
review, the Pricer management believes that the lawsuit is without
foundation.
