Books-A-Million (BAMM: news, msgs), the third largest book retailing chain, said it will be the exclusive provider of books and related products to Wal-Mart's (WMT: news, msgs) online customers. The company will also provide Internet order fulfillment services. Books-A-Million's stock rose 68 percent to 12 5/8 in Instinet trading on the news.
