Pacific Growth as a natural buyer, plus low volume, should bring in some short cover. Maybe even Bob will step up to the plate. Tick by tick, going to be an interesting day.

Folks, I now believe that Checkfree stayed in the Russell 2000 and submit to you that there are people with more organized systems than me and to whom it is more important who have already figured this out and are buying the stock this a.m.

When you look at what BaneOne is doing

- spinning off a separate netbank
- integrating bank with lycos
- offering free bill pay with an account
- offering fee based bill pay with no account
- full account detail on line including (cd, checking, credit card...)
- advertising like crazy

where do you think this leaves banks like TEX...

They have a real cool switch which

- is being done by at least two other organization (EDS and BLLS)
- won't be ready until next year
- does nothing to keep customers coming to their bank

If was was them I would dump the feeble switch and start listening to what their customers want...

(I have a Chase Credit Card, and called and ask if I could see my account activity on-line... Their response - We're still looking at the security to see if it is safe to do that. Peckerheads... That credit card is gone next time I pay my bill...)
