A Grand nomination....

In the Amazon thread, which surprisingly, it is a very civil, entertaining and, informative thread.....

There is always a gnat, buzzing around trumpeting to the world how good his calls are.....

Claims he has made millions (on the short side)... he has been asked to provide proof, never submits it, and the scant available evidence does not support his boasting....

so big deal....

Ah but today, he really blew it, because just before the market turned on the turbo-boosters, lifting most everything, including Amazon.....

He was warning the world that in one hour, everyone should be admiring him for his wisdom....

Well.... we know now, that if he had all those puts he claimed.... they must not be worth much now....

Message 10333448

Half hour left, get your puts now....

Message 10334003

A few minutes left, get them while they last....

Message 10334527

2 minute signal.... Gentlemen, start your engines....

Message 10334772

OOOOOPS !!!...

Stalled engine.... But.. hey... this is the magician trader... now he is going long, long, long......

Message 10334827

And instantaneously, he is long and "IN THE MONEY ALREADY !!!"

Message 10334997

And of course, he has a lightening broker(s)....

Message 10335133

He's lost some.... (280 K), so he says.... but hey... no biggie, his new positions are fixing that....

Message 10335272

but the rally is faltering.....[ maybe he is already thinking to go short again !!]

Message 10335307

Ah.... but someone gets him on a small detail.... he, he, he....

Message 10335348

More reality dose...

Message 10335452

However... there is always an explanation....

Message 10335453

But more reality doses pouring in.....

Message 10335544
Message 10335631

Having second thoughts already....

Message 10335715

Does not learn....

Message 10335741

the sky is falling !!!! [already ??]

Message 10335768

Well.... not really...

Message 10336176

And this is a good summary of a few of our hero's comments prior to today's stellar performance....

> AOL has enough room to make 120 with a little push
Since I have calls, I would like to believe this. But AOL has dropped 4 points from its high today, and seems to be accelerating downward. I guess nobody cares about the eMachines deal anymore<<
Dow 10,924.58 -46.22
S&P 1,363.77 -8.89
NASDAQ 2,660.62 -25.50
30-Yr Bond 88.84
Yield: -1.25
6.060%

I would think the above numbers are the contributing factor to AOL's downdraft. Not real hard to fathom for most people.

AOL price target set at $ 200 in CNBC this morning, by an analyst who included AOL in a list of "Uncommon values" - with T, INTC, MSFT!

That pretty much sums up your investment intelligence.
So it has nothing to do with fundamental or vision of the company.
It is so simple that if you are short you won't belive in stock value and wants it go to $10 or Never 100 again .
And if your are long then you will believe in $120 target.
Nice way of investing. I am have no clue on investing can be
simplified enough to individual's cause and effect. No wonder you
call yourself KeepItSimple. The best way to become simple is have Zero
knowledge as some philosophers say everything started from nothing and it is the ultimate state of being simple.

One more thing about your bragging of EE degree. Sometimes technical knowledge, that too half baked,
is not the best guide for investing as it can often cloud your reasoning and bias your outlook.

the emachine deal is much bigger than i think anyone is giving it credit for right now. only half of households are online now, this will propel many more to join in. what this deal also does is stops all the free sites in their steps. all these new AOLers will be locked in for 3yrs. the freebies have to be running a little scared about where their revenue dollars will come from. will advertisers who live on a budget continue to support them or turn the money over to AOL for a solid return for their investment. this is going to make for on hell of a xmas season of buying on the net. all these newbies get to experience shopping online without leaving their home. remember your first online shopping experience? i bet it wasn't your last. AOL revenue will soar when 4th quarter earnings come in. this is where Mr. Pitman is the brain, he knows how to milk deals for every last penny. anyone signing a new contract which they have renewal of 95%, wonder why, will have to cough up more money and better terms.
even though others have the same deal, it make sense that for free most will go with AOL, a name everyone knows. AOL EVERYWHERE...this is just the beginning
