Hi Ray:

No longer in WIND. Sold when we discussed it on the P&F thread. I like the company but the stock is a different story. I'll revisit the stock after I see some positive fundamentals again.

Right now I'm concerned about:
1) The new pricing. No clue as to s/t impact to revenues but I'm guessing its a good long term move but may impact revenues over short term. If there is another revenue shortfall the stock will be in single digits.

2) Right now one of the supports is the anticipation of a new CEO. With Fiddler remaining Chairman I don't see this as a big positive.

3) I20 - with two standards led by Intel and Ibm respectively I'm reminded of the 56k and 56x. Until we had a v90 standard ASND and COMS were materially impacted (i.e. not selling as much product as anticipated). Not sure if this is the same and although WIND will benefit from either standard without significant I20 revenues I don't see the 77 cents this year.

Those were my reasons. I held the stock for 1.5 yrs with a 50% appreciation to a realized 25% loss. Just felt I could recoup the funds somewhere else till the story turned favorable. There is better risk and reward in the semi's. CYMI & PRIA are just starting to be recognized for their value (of course it could take months <gg>).

I think the cancelation of the stock buy back today is more bad news for WIND. Indicates they need the cash. Either for acquisitions or for expenses. Plus it could also indicate mgmt feels the stock can be repurchased at a lower price. If its for expenses it means they're not making revenues and bringing in cash. All speculation on my part here but I'll wait a while. The P&F chart looks terrible. Its below the BSL with lower highs and lower lows.

IBM indicated 3rd quarter of next year for the next generation (needed with windows 2000 64 bit version) I20 standard.

So besides WIND where else are you investing your FORE profits <g>.
