RMBS infrastructure news...

The means to produce volume RDRAM builds up, and the FUD ammo is depleted. First news is testers, a huge
part of the "too expensive too produce" mantra and the second news relates to the heat
transfer for the RIMM modules. Expect more assaults from the anti-BUS crowd directly...

"Productivity by Maximizing Yield and Throughput
Schlumberger Automated Test Equipment (ATE) today announced that NEC has selected its RDX(TM) systems --
the industry's leading RDRAM test solution -- for design validation through high volume production test of its new
generation of RDRAM devices.

Requirements

Raychem Corporation now offers a total thermal solution which includes interface material and a heat spreader
plate for Rambus RIMM modules. After extensive thermal and mechanical modeling and testing Raychem is now
offering the HeatPath GTQ-HS2-R100 heat spreader and HeatPath GTQ R100 interface material that
cost-effectively maximizes heat transfer for Rambus RIMM modules."
