There's an anomaly occurring with one of the Russell 2000 stocks yesterday and today: ABR Information Svcs (ABRX). The Russell Company told Russell 2000 funds they had to buy ABRX. About 97% of ABRX's shares had been tendered in a buyout. The resulting buy-in and sell-out by the funds buffetted the remaining 400-500,000 shares outstanding of ABRX. Today, it's down over 60. The takeover price was 25 1/2. Yesterday it was up to over 90 in one day. Today, it's about 29.
