As they say, all politics are internal. There is a strong public opinion that the current govt did not do enough to stop the atrocity of bombing Yugoslavia. So what happened? We got the mafiosi drug running prostitute cartel KLA bandits being legitimized and groomed to be the "police force" of Kosovo. You got greater Albania taking shape slowly and an unstoppable wave of criminal elements overruning Greece. Turkey is fully supporting the Albanians because it is in their geopolitic interests to create a second front in case of a confrontation....so this is the main reason behind this recent move...Greece has just created not one second front but several big ones<g>

As far as permanently moving away from Nato and the West, I am not sure about that. But I can tell you that the bombing of the Serbs with its hypocrisy and brutality (along with repeated lies by Clinton that he will personally see into having the Cyprus problem solved once and for all) have created a much stronger anti US mperialist feeling...I sense that every time I call Greece and talk to family and friends...Of course Greeks don't fall over this "atrocity" humanitarian bombing bullshit.
