I owned SBUX for two years and scored a double prior to the drop. This stock had slummed twice pretty badly in the past and all recovered, but I still feel that this stock has too many downside surprises than i could handle.
Regardless, I am buyer at this price.

Paul, why leave out....

...the SSS for June, which were 7%. And SBUX is facing easy comps for the rest of this summer, after last summer's mess.

A bit of perspective: SBUX is now at 26, its end of February price.

That said, I think Howard is sacrificing current stock price growth for his long term internet plans. I expect dead money, and hope they spin off the Starbucks X unit.

BTW, SBUX has the whole world in which to expand, and is doing so.
