Ken98, Thanks for the response.

I only follow the Big Boyz about 65 stocks that represent about 45% of the equity. They are not going to influenced by a rebalancing in the RUT.

However, it seemed the answer was number 3. Most of those stocks with big volume after the close tended to drop at the market open. I think I'll play with this one some more.
