Watched HAUP move 400K shares in less than 45 minutes. Did not find any news. Rande has said this could fall just as fast as it rises due to the small float. Anyone have a sense of where it might go and why?

Back from wonderful vacation in Vegas and scuba in Mexico. Glad to be home.

SR, do not misread HAUP. . . be sure to account for the enormous short positions, which may be covering for the holiday weekend. HAUP has been a favorite with shorts over the past month.

However, when this issue covers, it has a tendency of attracting daytraders that bid it way up, due to the tiny float and the speed in which the stock moves.

At this moment I am seeing an imbalance of size, weighted on the ask. 3700 to 100. . .that is a good indications that some shorts are re-positioning. To buy in anticipation and speculation of late Thursday/Friday news on a short players favorite stock, is risky, IMO.
