Man, you missed your selling op by 12 points. When you hear analysts talking up SBUX like it is the finest stock since IBM. . . head for the hills. . . it too often means that they know they are about to downgrade it for whatever reason and that it is about to tank. When all those analysts were on CNBC over the past three days bragging on SBUX and WCOM . . . what do you think their motivation was?

How about soliciting sales to support the price of the stock, so that when they release their new downgrades and market evaluations. . . and the stocks tank. . .they got out at the highs and left the small investors holding the bag? Sound plausable?

Can anyone count the number of barneys out in the media hyping SBUX and WCOM this week? Unreal. . . if one of us did it. . .they would be accused of pump and dump. . . but when the ENORMOUS BROKERAGE HOUSES do it. . . it is just the "way the market works."

I wish I had better news for you, Daniel. I think you got screwed. I like the company long term and would consider buying a bit lower. . .19 maybe. I think it will drop further from here, then those very same brokerage houses will re-load at the low and brag about SBUX WONDERFUL new website.

With 50 million shares traded and no rebound in sight, I think it will stay down Friday and perhaps go lower yet near-term. . . I don't see an immediate bounce in this one. . . float is just too big. . . maybe a slow climb next week. . . . .but this is mostly a guess based on trading and float.
