Cemex interested in India

A senior team of the world's third largest cement producer Cemex S.A. de C.V of Mexico is in India exploring opportunities in the Indian market. Cemex manages a capacity of 61mn ton more than 50% capacity in the Indian market. For Cemex acquisitions are a way of life and it has grown to this capacity using this route. This is the second visit by the company's senior officials. The first visit was in September last year. A number of Investment bankers are expected to make presentation to the team on the Indian cement industry.

Satyam Computers will develop clinical drug trial data management tools and technologies for Enmed a healthcare technology company in US. These technologies will help reduce delays in clinical trial process. A company press release said today that the pharmaceutical companies can now bring the drugs to the market faster and more efficiently. The tools that Satyam will develop will help speed up drug development and approval process. The tools will also automate documentation and workflow process. Satyam will integrate the Internet, e-commerce, document management, workflow and 3-D graphics and data warehousing.
