I thought the divorce rate is declining now. The long married couples will need new rings as they put on weight as they mature, especially baby boomers. We had to reset the diamond in my wifes engagement ring. So the gold in the original engagement ring and wedding band were used for the new setting for the diamond and we bought a whole new wedding ring itself. Doing our bit for gold. My wife is 50, the leading edge of the boomers.

One thing that's encouraging about all the divorce, if you can ever say any divorce is, is that it seems like many of the second marriages are sticking. Few people want to go through something like that twice. --Alan
