The answer to the dilemma, Miss Harris, is to dismantle the public education system and have a privatized system. Christians could start their own schools, Moslems their own schools and so on. People who don't want religion to be a part of their child's curriculum could start their own schools.

to: Michelle Harris from: truedog #1. Who said anything about "white" Christians? Christianity embraces all races. If you had ever read the Bible, you would realize that race is never mentioned. #2. There are many Faith-based Christians who do not believe in "forcing" anyone to do anything. We believe we have the best answer and "invite" others to join us. Please do not dump me, and people like Andy, into a common pile with the radicals who commit crimes in the name of Christianity who are in for a rude awakening on judgement day. #3. High school kids do not even read "wet paint" signs so, they probably won't read any sort of posting of the Ten Commandments. I believe that the morality represented by these rule should be instilled in a child in the home, by a united and complete family. With the breakdown of the American family comes chaos. truedog
