Apple has filed suit against Future Power and Daewoo over their iMac look alike.

Do you have a story link?

For those who wish to see the two machines:

macweek.zdnet.com

It looks like a total ripoff. Not designed to look elegant- designed to look JUST LIKE an iMac.

"Apple has filed suit against Future Power and Daewoo over their iMac look alike. I can't believe they would produce a machine so simlar to the iMac. It's not even an iMac knock off. It looks just like and iMac."

It was a weak attempt. They tried to make it look like the iMac as much as possible but it was pretty crude. Look at the way the powercord and other connectors stick out in the back. The CPU is still a big box sitting under the monitor. Someone on Yahoo came up with the name "iSore" for the fabled iMac knockoff from e-machines. We still haven't seen it from e-machines, I think the iSore moniker is appropriate for this beast from FU Power.

BTW, ARMHY hit 40 today. Let's see... 6.6x5 1/2 = 36.3 That's a pretax gain of about $36 mil for Apple....at least on paper.
