Options can be fun, but I wouldn't suggest using more than you'd be willing to lose in a bad position trade.

I use options almost exclusively for position trading. In the case of FORE, OMPT, MI, PAIR, and OSI it was great. Less success in the case of COMS, USWB, and FOX. Typically, I go out between two to three months when takeover rumors are involved since these things don't always happen when we want them to.

Current positions include: MMWW, HIB & ROK. No guarantees implied of course, but this approach works well for me.
