Robert -- YHOO will do well in Asia because it is an extension of Softbank and Softbank will want their baby to do well -- and they will take this brand name and make billions of dollars from it in Asia. Make that tens of billions. As I said the other day, I met with DHL recently. They have 17 service centers in Japan -- expanding to 25 by year's end and booming to 69 in 24 months. Why? To handle internet related deliveries -- and this is just what they are ALREADY committed to as things stand today. EBAY should be in Asia if they are going to be a player. YHOO and AOL are both developing their positions -- this is the blind spot for many in the American market. BTW who do you think the Japanese investors will buy when Softbank opens Nasdaq trading in Tokyo in a few months? :-)
