Nanchate,
When updating a chart you want to stay in the same column if possible. In this case the chart was in a col. of X's up to 12. It traded lower early but the strength late in the day caused it to hit 12 1-2. When charting we first look to see if we can continue in the col. we are in. In this case we could because the stock traded a 12 1-2. Therefore there was no reversal down. Had the stock not reached a high of 12 1-2 then we would have reversed. jay
