My wisdom is to suggest you enjoy your gardening. Candide did. It's a fine way to accomplish something real.

Actually since you have picked stocks very well, you are way ahead of most people. Shows your research is good. And you approach makes sense - at least up to your exit point.

Maybe you sold too soon, if so, I guess the best approach is when you feel like selling and the fundamentals haven't changed, go out and garden instead of sell. Then both your stocks and garden can grow. (Won't work in the winter though)

More seriously, I can not advise you. Don't know your situation. Just wish you well in making your decisions for yourself.
