The unread messages need to be a brighter blue, it is hard to tell which is which, read or unread.

I half agree with you Cheeky. <G> Agree. Having the message across the width of the whole screen makes it too hard to read. Disagree. The colors are OK and I think I'll get used to the rest of new layout.

agreed. the color bands are two jarring. some of us crotchety, change resistant old fogies need to be gently transitioned to any new format unless another outbreak of petulance is desired.

<<your eye doesn't go right to the message>> I need boxes to help with this. I need a box around an individual message to separate it from the extraneous stuff on the page. It's too hard to have the message just kind of floating on the page without a border all the way around it. I also need boxes on my subject marks page. It's hard to quickly differentiate the different threads, the unread messages, etc. without a box around each subject. And I don't like having to look all the way across the page to get information like number of unread posts, date and time of last post, etc. I tried posting this on the Beta site inputs, but it wouldn't log on.
