No, really not all that possible. Goldman doesn't position stocks like that. While it's certainly possible that Goldman bought a 4mm share block from Dell, the odds are about 100% that they turned that block before the end of the day. There's too much risk in holding a block like that overnight, and Goldman does not assume that kind of risk in their trading department.

Any chances that we'll see Dell make GS's Focus 1 Top Priority Must BUY URGENTLY list soon. :-)

DELL has been on Goldman's recommended list for over 2 years now.
