Richard Estes: Gann cardinal numbers

Thanks for the homework. I did all of my favorite stocks, and looked for support / resistance at the Gann cardinal numbers. I don't immediately see them more often than any other number (except for #1, which obviously has psychological significance, and MAYBE 8, but not too often). I have been careful to use non-split-adjusted stocks.

Can you give me some examples of stocks or indices to try?

I assume that you mean on a day chart here. Do you mean a line every 8 trading days? And if you see significant periodicity every 8 days, have you taken a Fourier transform of the data, to see if it shows up there?
