Re Airtouch pricing: There may be a good way to look at this. As a long time ATI holder, I am confident that they are extremely competent at what they do and have incredible foresight about market trends - witness their investments in all those european cellular companies and Globalstar as examples.

I can picture many of ATI's important corporate clients standing in line for these things - like maybe UPS for their vehicles. Initially, for many reasons including limited handset supply, there may not be enough service for everyone. Perhaps ATI's big clients have secure positions in that line now and there is little room for the little guy at first. Of course, for PR and other reasons, there should be some availability - at the right price to keep that end of the demand down until they can accommodate everyone. Hence the response we saw today. Just a thought anyway...
