On July 6, Frank Russell Co., the Tacoma, Wash., concern that published
the Russell 2000 and other indexes, will release the final version of its
reconstituted Russell 2000. Preliminary versions of the revamped indexes
have already been released, and index funds and portfolio managers that
track the Russell 2000 have started to adjust their holdings to conform with
the new alignment.

The rearrangement of the Russell 2000 tends to create an unusual amount of
volatility.

This is a preliminary list of companies that, after applying our index
construction and methodology, we believe will be added to the Russell 3000
index as of June 25, 1999. We believe this list is indicative of probable future
index membership. This list is not the final official Russell index membership
and is subject to change without notice. Ticker subject to change. The final
membership list will be available here on July 8 after 6:00 p.m. PDT. (A list
of deletions is also available.)
