OTOT
A person can sometimes watch his trades be implemented by watching Quote.com...
An example is one call an Aug 60 that I bought today on Rnwk to make some 'beer money'.
( If it had not gone up you would not be reading this)Hehe

quote.com
( you may have to type in qrnhl to see the data)
Sometime before ten with Rnwk up about $4 I called Waterhouse and
asked them to buy one qrnhl at 1/8 above the bid price or $18
For the day- to open a position- at $18 or better
So luckily it filled at the first mark on the chart as part of a group of ten calls at ~ 10:20.
About 2:30 PM with Rnwk up around $9 I thought it may be as high
as it would get for the day, so with no idea what rnwk will do tomorrow ( since it was merely a chance bet) I called the broker with an order to sell at 22 which was a tad higher than the offer and somebody grabbed it and it is shown on the chart as the last trade of one call at 2:45.
Am very pleased with Waterhouse securities on these trades-
three or 4 phone rings, maybe one minute at the most and someone will take the order. The charge for 1 option trade is $33, so
to buy and sell is total $66 which leaves me $333 beer money.
I don't have to call to see if the trade went thru, it was obvious from the chart. A person may have done better with a July call, but
if Rnwk had not continued up, I would have have more time left
on a August call for a gain to occur.
Sig ( hoping for Dell to move so we have some entertainment)
