off topic ... sorry lamar wise up dear Paul ... that CUST incident was a marketing tool ... used to entice SI members to her thread .... that was clear as glass most relatively successful and respected, 'long timers' on SI are already aware of the 'sharkess' activities ... Most on that thread are the 'screamers' ... the ones to get the momo's in gear.... lure em in ... a joe the 2nd, so to speak and hmmmm ... a new set of 'screamers' every month or so ... doesn't take those newbies long to figure out that knowing which company's are good and which are not is pretty simple ... well ... ya still have to find that entry though. This thread will more than likely get hit up, as it is on the hot list ... the marketing tactic, congratulating the thread owner on his/her wonderful 'home page' ah this is my favorite post <ggg> Message 8843227 nahh ... maybe this one ... Sounded like a well thought out post to me. Didn't seem like you bashed her. If they keep calling your place of work, talk to Anthony, i'm sure he knows a lawyer or two.

Paul, that was noble and a gentlemanly gesture to do what you have done. I never knew it went this far but I got some e-mail from friends on SI. You did not lose control and go off the deep end but nipped a problem in the bud. That shows a maturity that we can only envy. But as for the word you keep using "sheep" I never use words like that. Actually it was gemmers and myself in particular that were getting bashed for daring to go long on "CUST" see this below: from the CUST thread: <<Jenna, actually, if you did indeed tell your sheeple to get out of CUST today, then I must have missed it. If instead, you are Tokyo Joe-ing them and telling them to get in a dog and in hindsight, after it crashes telling them they should've gotten out....well.>> Funny thing is that everyone made money on CUST on the way up and I made sure to get them into CUST today in a timely manner on the way down (puts).. I'm ignoring the intrusion on that other thread and will leave things alone. If there is something to be done I'll leave it to the 'powers that be'. I have never been anything less than courteous, civil, watching my language and professionalism for the last 2 1/2 years and I won't change anything about our service, posting and our thread. We are a 'class act' and I'm proud of everything we have accomplished. When you have success there is nothing to change. In 47,000 posts and with all the previous 'top 10' in SI there has always been mutual respect, until now. I have always 'welcomed' those traders that ventured out on their own to make a business from a website, gave them pointers, advice etc. There is room for all of us traders who have a fine, reasonably priced service to offer. Those that think there is no room for others might have a problem. and it seems that they have the problem not just with us but with everyone, because no matter how much they try to disparage and attack with no provocation, the signals they are giving are not the signals they intended to give. So, we'll just sit back and go on with what we do best: trading, that is the best antidote... There will never be 'only one service out there'.....
