Are the shorts on this board getting more desperate? They seem to have given up on the great plunge that the stock is going to take as the company goes bankrupt. Now they lament that ABTX allowed one of its seed buyers to go bankrupt. Gasp, what horror! Even worse, one short predicts that there will be no news for a while and the stock price will "drift lower". What catastrophe!!!! Another prognosticates that the stock price will just stay were it is now. How utterly cruel!!
The long term prospects of this company remain intact. I remain confidently long.

I know MSFT for instance has encountered many chapter 11 and 13's and you don't hear much about them.....

Funny, very, very funny. The accounting for Hechinger's will make them miss their "breakeven on a pre-tax basis for the last six months of the fiscal year" prediction. I'm sure many of your fellow shareholders would have preferred to see it in a company press release before it was posted on a message board. Something simple, outlining the potential impact, as soon as they were aware of it would have been the proper way to play it.
