re: compensation for radio...

I am certain radio pay is far less then what his newsletter brings in. We estimated the latter was in the $5M to $10M range from the change in UTEK annual reports issued! It is not a charity, but it shouldn't be either.

I would also agree that Bob would be silly to not put his family first for getting a Bear signal, then the newsletter subscribers as that is what they pay for. Radio people have gotten good advice all along at the cost of listening to commercials so the bear sell signal would be a bonus, IMHO.

re: Justa's take on BB's reaction to callers with 40% in AOL.

I just listened to the call and BB seemed very surprised that it doesn't bother them that their net worth can drop so much even if it is still higher than it was when they bought in. I caught a muttering of "easy come, easy go I guess" as he sounded truely surprised that people don't care. It did make me think of our investments in AMAT where many of us owned it at the peak of the last cycle and rode it all the way down to $22 or so.... good company and it came back, so my take is those with alot of AOL believe this will also happen...right or wrong, that is what they think it seems.
